One of my Favorite Pies, September 22, 2004 - 09:25 PM

This is the first Key Lime Pie I had ever made or even eaten. I just love it. I was very surprised to read about the addition of the 2Tablespoons of the Angostura, thought that might be a misprint but did it anyway. I'm glad now that I did, it really adds to the pie. Since I'd never had this before I was surprised also since the pie turns out orange. I added food coloring to make it look better but that really isn't necessary anymore. Also now that I have a lime juicer which I bought especially for this it's much easier to prepare. I recommend this to everyone who likes lime pies and all those who have never tried one before but would like to!
