Key Lime Pie 4 whole, large eggs - separated 14 oz condensed milk 1/2 cup key lime juice 2 teaspoons sugar 1/3 teaspoon cream of tartar 1 9 inch pie crust
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Beat the yolks in a bowl until thick. Add condensed milk and beat until blended. Add lime juice slowly, mixing well. Pour custard into pie shell.
Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Add sugar and cream of tartar. Spread meringue on custard. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
